Why Volunteer to Help Veterans?

WFFS charity volunteers presenting an award

When you volunteer to help veterans we support during their critical transitions from military to civilian life, you are choosing to engage in a truly rewarding experience for all parties involved! Among many other reasons, when you volunteer to help veterans through the Warrior Foundation-Freedom Station, you can expect to:

  • Help make society a more accepting, welcoming and supportive place for our transitioning servicemen and women.
  • Have a positive impact on the rehabilitative recovery and transition processes.
  • Meet and learn from new people from all walks of life and backgrounds with interesting stories to tell and skills to share.
  • Feel fulfilled by spending your time doing something that benefits our warriors, as well as the community.

If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact us, or contact our Volunteer Coordinators, Carol Ann Palmer or Toni Bevan directly at volunteer@warriorfoundation.com.
